Vitamin A ; Know the Sources of Vitamin A and its Function for Health of Baby


Vitamin A is different from other vitamins, either in its characteristics, its food sources etc. Especially for children, vitamin A is good for health of the eye. But you still must attention to give it  for your children appropriately, so not to invite health disorders that are not expected.

There are two forms of this vitamin, they are retinol and  beta carotene. Retinol can be found in food from animals such as liver, whole milk, cheese, egg yolk etc. While beta carotene is often called provitamin A found in foods from plants such as green vegetables, carrots, papaya etc. Provitamin A will be converted into vitamin A by a certain process in the human body, is at the time of absorption in the intestinal mucous membrane.
