Baby's Skin; 6 Ways Baby Skin Care

baby's skin is very delicate, but it's susceptible to have temperature changes, droughts, and infection. Sweat glands are not fully developed, so the baby's skin is very sensitive to cold and hot temperatures. Although sebaceous glands are formed in the skin, this gland is not producing enough oil. As a result, the baby's skin dry easily. In addition, it's susceptible to have infection because the protection system against microorganisms have not been fully formed.

Here are six tips for baby skin care on the first months of life:

1. Bathe the baby every few days, but clean baby's skin every day.

In the first four months, you should not bathe your baby every day. Experts recommend once a week. Special baby soap is more friendly for baby's skin, but should not often bathe a baby. To keep baby's skin does not use the dry soap, it can be poured a few drops of olive oil or baby oil into bathwater. Water that's used for bathing or wiping the baby's skin should have a warm medium, around 37' Celsius. Prepare to wrap a warm towel and a mat before and after the baby is cleaned.

2. Observe skin problems.

Baby's skin may have some problems or skin conditions, such as birthmarks, dermatitis (fungal infection), prickly heat, eczema, acne, and allergies. For this, you should always consult to a doctor

3. Protect your baby's skin from the sun.

Infants in the first year of life should not be exposed to direct UV radiation. Using clothes, hats are the best means of protection against UVA and UVB sun. Additionally, you can provide sun protection cream (sunscreen) for the baby's skin in exposed.

4. Use a cotton cloth.

Always try to wear cotton clothes and diapers on babies. Cotton is friendly to baby's skin and have pores also absorbs moisture. Avoid synthetic materials.

5. Protect from cold weather.

Baby's skin is not enough to protect themselves from cold weather. give the baby blanket  with warm clothing and blankets prevent the baby from the wind.

6. Massage your baby.
For general health and skin care baby, the baby can be massaged properly and gently. For this purpose, can use olive oil or another essential oil that does not harm to the baby and can trigger asthma.
