Memory Skills; Very Important for Children

Train the skills of memory from childhood is very good for children. Memory skills is called mnemonics. With the help of parents, there are various ways to train the child's skills of memory.
That Ways include:

1. Attention to Detail
Before must be remembered that there is something important for the children, that is skills of memory. Parents can develop a long-term effects for children with recall many specific questions about events that have passed. For example, when finished watching the circus. on the way home, ask the child about who is the actor / actress that she likes, how is the clown cloth, which performance is the most exciting of him and so on. If the child has a difficulty to tell detail, parents can add his story.

2. Play Memory
On the car while traveling to a picnic, try making a sentence and each child should repeat the sentence and add one more word so it will be a complete sentence. Example: "I want to go picnic, I'll bring a bag,......" then each child gets a turn to continue the sentence.

3.Using Strategy
Memory skills must be practiced at all times, of course, this requires a strategy. Use a variety of ways to help the memory of the child. For instance, using the acronym to remember the color spectrum of the sun with easy words to be remembered by the child, for example the word  royelgreenbivi  that means red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

4.Divide and Remember the Hardest
For example, if the child had to memorize poetry, divide the poem into different sections. Then start by memorizing the most difficult parts first.

5.Rehearsal
Give exercises to train memory skills of children. For instance  ask children to remember the multiplication tables every day and to repeat the multiplication with a loud voice,so it can facilitate it in the recall. after that try to be tested.
When children are able to remember to repeat from the beginning. The children will realize that is an active process, then he will have own way of remembering things that are difficult and will be more confident with the way of his recall.
