Essential Fatty Acids and Lecithin; Make Kids Smart?

Essential fatty acids

Essential fatty acids can not be produced by the body, because it needs must be filled from outside. Based on the bond, essential fatty acids is divided into two major categories, namely omega-6 fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-6 fatty acids is linoleic acid lelompok formed on leaves and there are many on soybeans, peanuts, corn and cottonseed. Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of linoleic acid is widely available on soybeans and fish.

Lecithin

Lecithin is a chemical compound that its structure as- fat containing glycerol, phosphoric acid and choline. These chemical compounds as well as retaining emulsion. egg yolks, soy beans are a good source of lecithin.
Most of the brain consists of fat, protein and less carbohydrate. fat contained in the brain is composed of fatty acids. These substances are a lot of essential fatty acids in the bladder. EFA  along with cholesterol to form 75% of the myelin (nerve wrapper) that serves to accelerate nerve impulses, thereby enhancing intelligence.

While the role of lecithin as a source of choline in the brain in charge of controlling the synthesis acetychlonine (one of the main metabolic processes in the body). Its function as a conductor of nerve thus affecting memory.
So with lots of consuming foods containing lecithin is expected to be strong memory.

With this assumption, based on  the experts believe that can improve intelligence children. When we care about our children's intelligence, let's give it a measured and balanced.
